The 1L03 EMT Service from Nottingham to Norwich struck a footbridge that was knocked down by a lorry dropping ballast off at the side of the rail, the alarm was raised right away but not in time before 158856 came around the corner.

Thankfully no major injuries to any passingers, or the Driver & staff, i wish him and all those involved a speedy recovery.

It could of been very worse so at least thats one good bit of news.

Another top draw night shoot with the EMRPS guys, the weather held off to boot, top job as always with the lights.

Loco's D9016 "GORDON HIGHLANDER" & D8 "PENYGHENT" with 31421 "WIGAN PIER" (31270 really) as a bonus.

A couple of things to mention we had an original "THE FLYING SCOTSMAN" headboard many thanks to the guy for this, and the use of the 31 which i know doesn't look right with the stock, but this could be any railtour from the last 15 years, to be honest runs a close first with the Deltic shot, lets have more of this Jase !!!

Had a good week at Butlins @ Minehead, managed to grab a couple of hours one day out photting the West Somerset Railway.

Also a MASSIVE big up the DRS driver of the final working on Saturday, bowled by the crud - NO worries they stopped the train till the sun shone :-)

Went for the shot at Frisby of the 20 tour, a nice bonus was the shot of the 60, nice bit of sun what more can you ask for.
